Saving Face™ Nourishing Solid Face Serum Mini

I really like this moisturizer. I will say--typically, when purchasing moisturizers, I prefer creams to oil based moisturizers because I'm not a huge fan of my face feeling oily for a bit after applying. However, creams come in plastic containers, and this product has no plastic--the applicator is cardboard, and it's fairly durable with use... some cardboard applicators (looking at you, deodorant) tend to fall apart with regular use, but this product is still perfectly usable after several weeks of daily application. All in all, it makes sense for this product to feel oily--when I think of moisturizing things that are solid at room temp, I think some oils/fats, so it tracks. And it's a fair trade for a product with no plastic.

Love this product especially when my skin needs an extra hydration boost but it does kind of sit on top of the skin so I need to blend it in super well...be sure to wash face first before putting it on.

This is a really nice solid moisturiser, the texture is buttery and lovely, the scent is mild and natural.

Unfortunately I seem to have had a reaction to one of the ingredients on the sensitive skin of my face so I discontinued use as a face cream, I now use it as a body butter and this suits my skin very well. Using it on my legs after shaving is a new fave part of my routine.

The tester size is great for travel. I also like the very mild, almost no scent which does not interfere with perfume.

I feel this bar gives an extra layer of protection after moisturizing, but not great on its own.
