HYDRATING Shampoo Bar

Lovely. Used it as soon as I got it- sort of smelled like blue Rasberry candy (may edit this in a bit as I’m currently a bit stuffed up from the weather).

What a great shampoo bar this is. Having used Ethique shampoo bars for some years now, I'm really enjoying this one and how it leaves my hair feeling.

I work construction so I spend most of my day exposed to full sun, wind &/or rain/snow. Most days, I change color when I shower and I've struggled for years to find a product that didn't force me to choose between itchy scalp & dry straw-like tresses or daily oily roots. The Ethique hydrating shampoo has been life changing! In just one week, my hair was softer & healthier looking than its been in over 10 years! And the matching conditioner is just enough to help me finger comb in the shower and keep the frizz at bay on most days. I even started using it as body wash and have found my super dry skin is waaaaay less itchy.

I was previously using Ethique’s Mintasy shampoo, which was unfortunately discontinued. I loved the scent and it worked well for me. I emailed them to ask for an alternative and received a prompt response leading me to this scent. Was super impressed with their customer service, so if you aren’t sure which one might work for you- hit them up.

I have tried soooo many shampoos. I have wavy medium to thick hair and wash it about two to three times a week. Most bar shampoos seem to work like rubbing soap in your hair. Super drying, and then hair is greasy the next hour. This one is like actually using liquid shampoo but without feeling terrible tossing a massive plastic bottle away when you are done.

It’s a subtle scent which I like. I’ve noticed all of their scents are really good. Make sure it’s the right bar for your hairstyle. If it’s your first time using bar soap, or you are about to give up in finding the right fit, I really do think Ethique is superior to any other brand. No fuss packaging- no plastics and a product that works and lasts. Won’t be using any other brand.

I love this shampoo bar. It gives immediate creamy lather, feels great and rinses out quickly and completely. I don't use any other shampoo besides this one, it's just so nice.
