Fabulous product, awkward shape
I’ve used this shampoo for a few years now and love it. My hair always feels really clean and the smell is subtle and nice. But this new shape is awkward, I preferred the old shape. This one doesn’t fit in the tin I have, and it’s more difficult to use—the square was easy to hold in one hand while applying product with the other, while with this shape I feel like it’s going to go flying out of my grip while I’m using it. I appreciate that it’s a good size but would prefer they go back to the old shape for the next batch.

Hi Laurel, Thanks for the feedback on the shape. We've chosen to change the shapes of our bars with both ergonomics and aesthetics in mind. We trialled all the new shapes with people that had specific health conditions that can affect hand functionality, such as Arthritis, Peripheral Neuropathy in the hands, and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. This helped us better understand the usability challenges faced by individuals with varying dexterity. Additionally, we included top purchasers of our shampoo and conditioner bars. These participants are some of our most loyal customers, and their feedback provided valuable insights into the practical usability and preferences of the shapes. The results of this testing helped guide the design changes, ensuring the new shapes are more user-friendly for everyone, including those with specific physical challenges. At this point we will keep the new shape as it was preferred and considered easier to use. I hope this explains the changes!
