My hair and scalp really enjoy using this shampoo bar. This is my second one.
LOVE this shampoo, it's my all-time fav! But I don't like the new shape, they're quite hard to hold in your hand compared to the old shape. If anyone else has this problem I've found that if you cut them in half they work a lot better.
This shampoo bar doesn't take away my dandruff, but it does reduce the itch factor!
This bar is perfect for itchy and dry scalp which bothers me the most in winter. Does not make my scalp oily at all. I can go my usual 3 days between shampoos without dry roots or oily roots. Love this bar
Love the concept of this product, but it just doesn't work for me. The lather is really really good, but my hair feels stripped after using this and my scalp feels very dry. I'm itchy and flaky after just a day or two. And the scent....I really wish I had know the scent would be so strong before purchasing. It's a very strong citrus smell that I just don't enjoy at all. Unfortunately, I'm probably going back to my regular bottle shampoo.

I'm sorry to hear this product hasn't worked well for you. We have lime essential oil in the shampoo which gives a bright citrus scent but also helps to naturally balance, refresh, and lightly condition. Neem oil is also what gives the shampoo a distinct smell. It's quite earthy but does serve a really important function to keep the scalp in balance and help flakes/itchiness. Do you have any known essential oil irritations? The other reason could be that you may be using too much product.
Our bars are very concentrated and only a small amount of product is needed. We recommend thoroughly wetting your hair (and wetting the bar too), gently swiping it just a few times from root to tip (4-5 times), then placing the bar down and building up a lather with your fingers. As tempting as it is, there's no need to keep swiping the bar to hair until a lather begins to build; by this stage, it's likely that too much product has already been deposited to strands. If you end up using too much product you can counteract the cleaning and overclean the scalp which ideally you need to balance the scalp.
