Orbignya oleifera (babassu) seed oil

Babassu oil is a light, non-greasy oil that comes from the Babassu tree - an Amazonian native. Perfect for moisturisers as its prevent trans-epidermal water loss (which leads to dry skin) without being heavy or greasy, and it is chock full of antioxidants. Our babassu is wild harvested by a predominantly female work force, where it is an important supplementary income. Our source (as we do not work directly with the producers) pays a fair price upon harvest and also distributes profit to produces upon sale.
